Too much temptation!

Well we just got home from the show in Arlington. I got to meet Becky, and she was kind enough to show me how to pop and probe! Thank you, Becky!
I also met Chris, and he is just as nice as Becky. Actually, everyone there was so friendly and helpful, maybe snake people are just nicer than average, hahaha.
I wish we could have gone to lunch with Chris, I didn't get nearly enough time to talk snakes with him.
Judy had already left by the time I got there, and I didn't see Jen at all :(
Maybe in February?

Ok, so the snakes....they were AMAZING. It's one thing to look at pics of morphs on the net, but seeing them in person is just cool. I didn't like Mojaves much before, but now I'm in love with them. And my husband was crazy about the Lemon Pastels. But they had just about everything there, including that gorgeous Black Eyed Leucistic. I could have stared at that thing all day.
Me? I was being good, just looking at everything and talking about 'someday'. My husband? Ha! He bought himself a sweet little normal male.

He's named Liir, from the book Wicked, just like Elphaba, haha.

Sounds like you and your hubby had a wonderful time! I can't wait to get to a big show and see some of those morphs myself. Lovely little male BP, tell your hubby congrats!

Oh, Jo, you are so going to love it! And yes, we did have such a great time, I can't wait to go to another. I think next time I will get childcare for my son, though. He loved it for about 45 minutes, then all I heard was that he wanted to go home. I would have stayed longer if it hadn't been for that.

It was so funny, though, because he was frustrated that he couldn't play with his snake so he got mine out and played with her instead, lol.

Oooh, what a cutie! Expos are dangerous, as I know well... :rolleyes: But I'm gonna follow your example and be a good girl at the one in October. It's my turn to talk Judy into something she already wants. :halohorn:

I like your naming scheme! Wicked was a great book. I'm going with dystopic british authors... orwell, huxley, etc. :P
