    Thank you!

She's honestly the nicest looking hogg island boa I've ever seen. I didn't even like them until I saw her! I need to find a male that's as good as she is.

Wow! Do all boas have higher contrast in color on their tails? Diva's a big lovely gal! And in an completely unrelated note, I love your shirt too. :D

Yes, well they call them 'red tail boas' for a reason. :) She has an exceptional tail though, very clear colors, and wonderful rich orange. That's why I fell in love with her.

And thanks, I just got that shirt. :)

For some reason I had it in my head that the red tail boa term was specific to Columbians, lol. I'm a spaz, but I'm not real familiar with boas obviously.

Actually, colombians have the dullest red tail of them all! Except maybe nicaraguans and a few unusual subspecies..

Colombians are BCI boas (boa constrictor imperator)

Red tails like surinames, guyanans, and peruvians are BCC (boa constrictor constrictor) They are known as TRUE red tails because they keep the cherry red tail into adulthood unlike colombians.

Beautiful snake, Shelby! Is she higher orange than others or is that a more common shade for HIBs?????? I'm looking at one and he is a more sandy gray so I'm not sure what he'll be as an adult. Still learning here.
