Cant get my tank to stay the same temp and humidity
I got my ball python one week ago today! Everything is going great, shes been playful, she ate, and doesn’t seem that stressed. But, I cant get her temperatures to stay the same, I have two heat lamps, one that reduces humidity and its a bright white light, another that is a red bulb and barely reduces humidity. I also have a humidifier, the humidifier is great and works properly, but if I dont have the white heat lamp on at night, the humidity drastically increases (with the red heat lamp on), if I have the white heat lamp on then it is too bright to simulate night time for her. If I just turn off the humidifier and the lamps, it gets too cold and the humidity drops too low. What do you recommend doing, do you think she is okay?

Should mention its a 20g long glass tank and aspen mulch

If you're having heating issues at night, the easiest way to remedy your situation is to replace you white heat bulb with a Ceramic Heat Emitter (CHE) bulb. CHE doesn't emit light, just heat. With that said, CHE will eat your humidity. Make sure that all heating sources are controlled by a thermostat.
In regards to day/night cycle, I wouldn't worry about it as long as your terrarium sees natural light. BPs don't really gain anything from daylight.
Just a heads up, if you're going to replace the bulb, make sure the wattage is compatible. Otherwise, you'll need to get a dome that fits CHE wattage.

This is why it's important to do research BEFORE bringing an animal home.
If you don't have the money to properly care for an animal, don't bring it home.
What if the snake needs a vet visit?

Why do you need so many heat lamps? What are your temps?
