Hahhahaha, that makes sense with your crew! You wouldn't be able to fit many meals in a 3.5 cubic foot freezer!!!
I'm actually leaning towards a 5 cubic foot. The 3 would be enough for now, but I figure I'll go bigger just in case the crew outgrows the smaller one :D

Being able to buy in bulk saves money too. Just remember that if the freezer isn't full of snake food, you can add bottles of water to take up the space and then the freezer runs more efficiently than if it's only partially filled.

Keep in mind those days a lot of no name are actually made by the biggest brand and that the most expensive ones are not always the best one.
Righ t now store are about to have their sales in the next 2 weeks you will likely have some great deal.
That's a great point! I hadn't even thought of sales. Now I need to decide how urgently I need the freezer. Right now I've got some prey in my "regular" freezer and some on ice in a cooler on my upstairs porch since it's been so cold here.

I have this and it's on sale right now. Holds 1 1/2 years of food for all 7 snakes and will hold about a years worth when everyone is full grown (3 boas, a carpet python, a BP, and two corn snakes - the latter only need adult mice, but the former need small, medium, and large rats).

I've had it for two years and have had zero issues.
However, the 5.0 CU FT version is on sale now too for $5 more.

You probably won't need the space, but if you do, not bad. However, check the estimated costs of running, if that matters to you. The bigger one uses 15% more electricity a year.

Thanks Dave!
Efficiency is definitely something I think of when buying items like this. That's why im leaning 3.5 cf.
Knowing you can fit all that in yours gives me peace of mind. I'll never need anything more than med rats and two of mine will be on hoppers for life. So even if I add another snake or three I'll still have ample room.
That particular model seems to fit all my specs and is more affordable than others I looked at. Thanks for sharing!!!
