Is a Champagne yellowbelly het hypo poss GHI with a pastel yellowbelly jigsaw good combination? Or just 2 cool snakes? I thought the more genetics the better when breeding.

If you are a new breeder and do not have a lot of experience picking out the various genes in combos, I would suggest breeding a single gene animal to either of those. More genes is not always better especially when you are throwing in a gene like Champagne that really dominates and takes pattern out of the equation. Also if you are thinking about breeding a het know that unless you breed a visual Hypo to that animal, you can't sell any of the non Hypo offspring as 100% het Hypo. At most you would be able to call them possible 66% hets. My advice is to start small until you have more experience being able to pick out the genes in animals.

Re: New breeder question
You need to do hundreds of hours of research in order to know what morph is what and what morph bred to what morph makes what.
At least I did anyway. Literally hundreds of hours.
Or you could just pick a morph combo you like and study what the best way to pair for that morph is.

Very true, out of the 10 years I have been keeping bps, I didn't even start breeding until 3 years ago. During the 7 years prior I studied the morphs I was interested in, and taught myself how the genes worked together and learned how to ID them. Do as much research as possible, it will truly make a difference, its very important.

You need to select each gene in the calculator if you use WOB
