Edit: I did a quick search and the slipper was removed and the snake is fine. Hopefully the link to the article works.

They have the most unique cases ever !! So interesting. They help so many animals. There is a video of the surgery to remove the shoe. Very graphic, but ...interesting.


As to why it ate the shoe ? Maybe the owner has funky smelling feet ? :rofl:
