Re: Traits Of BCI and BCC.
He looks GREAT Gio! A very impressive critter. I didn't know boas were your favorite though.

Yes!
Sniper was my first snake and I am in love with boas to this day.
Don't get me wrong, the retic, Wallace is awesome, but boas and carpets are so easy, yet still very impressive.

Boas will always be my favorite. Not sure if it's because my first snake was a boa, or what, but they're always the ones I'm drawn to the most. I'm secretly trying to warm my boyfriend/roommate up by getting him to fall in love with this BP so hopefully he'll be down for a boa in a few years when he sees the additional personality/curiosity they bring to the table.
He’s close to 7 feet at 6 years old. He is a Rio Bravo Reptiles creation (Gus Rentfro). I bought him from Legacy Reptiles. He was a male holdback they where going to use for breeding.
He was 10 months old when I got him.
If you read The Complete Boa Constrictor by Vincent Russo he explains the locale.
Boas are excellent snakes.
Re: Traits Of BCI and BCC.
Thats pretty cool Gio. I started with colubrids but my first real snake love was carpets. I'm really looking forward to seeing the contrasts between boas and pythons.

They compliment each other for sure.
Your BCO will be different than the BCI.
I’d love to hear what pure diamond keepers think of Argies or vice versa.
Honestly carpets and boas cover it all for me.
The retic is a treat, but one is enough for me.
Re: Traits Of BCI and BCC.
Guess I'll need to buy The Complete Boa Constrictor too.

Yes, by all means do.
I like the way the Complete Carpet Python reads more, but the boa constrictor version is an excellent book.
