6 Year Old Boa Bday Bonanza.
    Rio Bravo Reptile's creation.

ABOVE IMAGE COURTESY OF LEGACY REPTILES

This (above) was the first picture I saw of him back in 2013.

100% Pure Colombian Locale. Barranquilla. 6 years old, about 7 feet and ALL muscle.

This boa does not eat from late October until early April.

Sniper was my first snake. He came about a year after our son's royal python.

If you like morphs, you should still be blown away by what mother nature and some selective breeding can do. This guy POPS when he's in the green.

    Iridescence isn't just for retics!

He enjoyed the cool grass on the hot afternoon we had yesterday.

How big? I'm not small and he covers me up pretty well. Too bad the cooperation on his part was not on par with the actual image I was trying to capture.
Sadly, bathroom lighting is terrible and even worse when you use a mirror to get the shot.

    It just wasn't working out.

So we finish on a happy note. The ever reliable deck rail photo!

    Thanks for enjoying Sniper's 6th!

Very nice indeed gio , markings are outstanding
Pure locality boas can be as stunning as any morph.
I think people forget how iridescent a boa can be sometimes

Awesome. You got to watch him grow!

Behira was a little over a year when I got her and about 440g. She’s now 2 and over 965g!

Great fun watching her grow, and grow, and grow, and grow!

He is beautiful. Enjoy him for many years to come!

The size, the sheen and the connected saddles. You gotta love the locales, I’m not saying morphs are not nice. But when I kept boas all I kept was locales. Yeah he is quite the looker, love the tail.

That is an absolutely gorgeous boa.

I really love some locales and some morphs, but overall, I find that I prefer locales.
