Help! >o< May I know how to keep the temperature if the snake likes climbing?
Hello guys! I have two ball pythons and a Suriname boa. I use heat mats under their tank, which is under their hide. However, they sometimes like to go out and climb. Especially my new Suriname boa. The place he likes to stay is just around 80F. I'm so worried about that. I tried to add an infrared lamp above his cage, but it's super hot and suddenly turn the temperature above 100F :O!!! Then I tried a ceramic heat but its heat is dissipated in the air and is not useful. May I know how should I do? Besides the boa needs more humidity the lamp or ceramic will also make it dry:tears:... I'm so worried about this situation. I've added a pic of my boa's enclosure. He always stays there and does not like to go back to his hide which is down left since he came home.Thank you so much for your help and sorry for my poor English.:tears: https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil.../8/boacage.jpg

Besides, two of my ball pythons haven't poop for a couple of weeks.... may I know that should I keep feeding or wait until they poop?:tears: Last time one of them pooped after her shed, but it's been too long :tears: I see some people said their snakes also didn't poop for a long time... but I can't stop worrying..Thank you so much!

Thermostats, with probes to sense temperature. That is a MUST, a NECESSITY to keep safe temperatures for your snakes.

You can cover the screen top with something to trap humidity. To be honest, that enclosure is not the best at all. You are much better off with a plastic enclosure with small ventilation holes.

Yeah I linked thermostats with their heat mats. You mean I should also use it with a heat lamp? May I know what kind of lamp/bulb I should use? Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! I thought about plastic tub, but if I use a plastic tub, I can not use lamp/light anymore right? So I'll only use heat mat? And may I know how to prevent escaping with only two clamps on the left side and right side? Will they try to push and escape from these parts as the pic shows? Thank you so much!https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil.../3/7/8/tub.jpg

You can attach a thermostat probe under the Ceramic heat emitter, or perhaps put the CHE on a dimmer switch.
Hopefully someone with CHE experience will chime in, to help further.

Maybe its just the "poor English" (LOL, you dont have to apologize, I don't speak any other languages well or poorly) but i want to be sure that all three snakes are not housed together.
