After a 40 years ban on Reptiles.
It is now legal with reptiles in Norway, after a 40 years old ban. ( 19 different species are now legal). I live in a place where there arent too many breeders for the moment, but I came across one guy. He showed me some snakes he got for sale, but this one for some reason got most of my attention.
I am a beginner when it comes to morphs, so I wanted to hear what you guys had to say. Please say what morph you think it is, if it a high/low quality snake and if you want say your personal opinions about him. Thank you :)

Looks like a nice little enchi to me. Congratulations on the ban ending. I hope you keep us posted on your collection as it grows.

i think i just answered my own question...i'm not seeing the typical clover head stamp of an enchi pastel. i think it's just a nice enchi, too.

OP it's a beautiful lil baby nonetheless!!!

Nice looking enchi. Pretty clean pattern. The orange should get better with each shed, like my enchi does.

Congrats on being able to keep reptiles now. Are they allowing you guys to import snakes? I know there's a big show in Hamm Germany every year and I think some other reptile shows in Europe as well, although I don't know the locations of those.

I know there are a lot of people that breed boa constrictors in Europe as well, but not sure if those are an allowed species for you.

First of all. Thank so much for all the kind words and love! I am really happy that the ban is over. ( for now. we have a election on Monday, and a couple parties have stated that they want to make sure the ban will be back, but hopefully none of them get enough power to do anything with it).
Also, thank you to everyone who replied to me, I appreciate it very much!
most of the breeders in Norway live in the south, but I live in the North. So transportation and finding breeders can be hard for me.

Yes, we can import animals, but there are som rules regarding to not be wild caught. I belive the parents of the snake also need to be born in captivity. need to have CITES permit papers . etc :)

I'll write down the species that are legal in Norway now, if you guys are wondering. I know it isnt a big list but at least it is much better than a full ban :)

    Snakes :

    • Green tree python

    • Amazon tree boa

    • Boa constrictor

    • Ball python

    • King snake

    • Corn snake

    • Milksnake

    • Rainbow boa

    • Carpet python

    Lizards:

    • Spiny tailed monitor

    • Crested gecko

    • Leopard gecko

    • Eyed lizard (Timon Lepidus)

    • Uromastyx

    • Bearded dragon

    • Giant day gecko

    Turtles/tortoises:

    • Hermanns tortoise

    • Chinese pond turtle

    • Redfooted tortoise

Well, since i'm the seller of the snake in OP's post, i can say it has zero pastel in it.

    Singlegene enchi 66% het clown.

Since so many thinks it's pastel enchi, the quality should be more than decent ;)

This is a very nice enchi, the fact that he also is possible het clown may influence the look of him. There is no pastel in that animal.

On the other hand, keep in mind that due to the hobby was illegal until recently, it will take some time for people to get high-end morphs as well, but there are examples of them already. This one, is a very good quality enchi imo, especially considering where in Norway you are located where there isn't many people yet having this hobby.

The most important thing is what you like, do you like the look of him? Go get him then ! :)
