    Help me understand Axanthic morph?
I have seen a bunch of pictures of the "stormtrooper" and axanthic morphs and think they are fantastic but I've read comments that they "brown out" as they get older. Is this the case with this morph or do they stay the white and black coloration?

The storm trooper got a lot darker and i don't think there was any browning. But yes unfortunately most axanthics brown out and it's the main reason i passed on them for a breeding project. Also don't get me wrong i do like and respect axanthic. I mean how can i not like axanthic pieds. If your considering an axanthic project i'd say try to do something interesting that hasn't been done much or at all. Like what? i don't know i'll leave that to you.:gj:

The individual, the line of axanthic (knowing that none are compatible) as well as the specific combo you want to work with will make a difference

    The best line is VPI

Here is a VPI Pastel Axanthic

It always helps when looking at immature axanthics to ask the breeder for pics of the parents (or grandparents if the kid came out of a hetxhet pairing and neither parent is visual). Look at the adults' colors and get an idea of what your snake might do.

Ok do all morphs change as they shed and grow or only specific genes? For example my Orange Dream could get more or less orange coloring as he grows? I'm pretty new to all the morphs as you could probably guess.

Yes morphs will change some will get brighter some will get darker of course choosing the right individual is very important, while some people will by an animal just to be able to say they have the gene in their collection being able to pick a quality animal will pay off.

This is the changes an OD will go through http://stewartreptiles.com/wordpress...ange-Dream.jpg
