I don't understand how people can do that to animals. There needs to be actual punishments for animal cruelty instead of just a slap on the wrist. That poor snake...

Yea, but they don't need to end up in jail. I say cull the idiots. If I ever came across somebody that did something like this then jail would be the least of their worries.

Yeah why use my tax dollars to support them? Though I am one to wish they would speed up death row too.

Horrific. But because its a snake chances are people will care less than if it was a cat or a dog. Torture of animals (and that's what this was) should be treated the same way as if it was a human.

Exactly. I work in a jail for a living so I can tell you they have it better than some free people. They get medical care, free meals, shower and so on. Sure they're incarcerated, but life isn't all that terrible. All of us free people that work pay for it too.

To me, this sounds like a perfect time to follow the "eye for an eye" mentality. And unfortunately, I think alienpenguin is right. Because this is a snake and not a "cute, cuddly" pet like a cat or a dog, the repercussions will be minimal if they do happen to find the piece of excrement who did this. If they find this person I will head to Logan and fly myself to Miami and sew that scumbag's mouth and eyes shut myself!!

I can't even try to understand how some people can do something like that! I wish the person that did this has to pay for it, eye for an eye!

They call it a massive snake in one breath and then caption a photo of a likely full grown adult ball python as "baby." Ok. >.>

That poor snake, though, I just can't imagine the thought processes someone has to go through to do something like that, even to an animal they don't like. :(
