    Exploding Rat (kinda gross)
    This is the first time this has ever happened to me. I feed 8 snakes F/T rats and i guess this girl was being overly agresive to feed today. Well here are a couple of pics. BTW it doesnt smell to good either.

    I think i overheated the rat a little. Because when you heat F/T the belley of the rat becomes really soft.

    ha ha...most likely it will eventually. I had that happen once or twice when I fed f/t.

    I won't complain about a few busted rodents....as long as they still get eatten:D

    I let them sit out from when i get home in the morning from work at about 8am. Then at about 7-8pm i set them under a CHE for about 10-15min. After that i make sure that they are warm to the touch and heat up the head a little then throw them in the tank.

    Yeah that is one reason i use newspaper because it is easy to clean the cage as long as they do their buisness on it.

    I thought it was going to happen the other day when my Cali was eating his f/t mouse...but luckily it didn't :)
