    New setup
Gonna open myself up here lol!! This is my new setup for my balls. Built all myself shelf and tanks both. Tanks are plexi. Just figured I'd see what people think. In the room i also have an oil filled radiator and fan to circulate the air. UTHs for hot spot. Dont mind the 99% humidity readings. That was fresh coco chips put in there that were still a little moist its since dropped. Snakes seem to like it theyve both taken meals in the new digs. The last tank will be upgraded to the same as the top three when that little guy is a bit bigger.

Looks good. Is the frame just a bookshelf?

Thanks. Its bookshelf style yes. I built it myself out of 3/4 BC plywood then painted. Each of the shelves pulls out and also acts as the lid for the shelf below.

I'm adding two more snakes to my Ball collection, they arrive Tuesday. But as you can see, my existing two are on top of an overturned bookshelf... so now you have me thinking lol...

Yea i kept looking at rack systems cause they save so much space and are super convenient but i also still wanted a visual/display aspect. I couldnt really find anything that would fit together in the dimensions i wanted so i was like what the hell I'll build my own. And the shelf itself wasnt really expensive at all to build. The plexi however is a bit on the pricey side so I'd say if you go this route a more cost effective way is to use tanks or clear tubs if you can find your desired dimensions. Love the pullout aspect tho.

Sweet! I haven't seen a tank rack before, but I doubt it will be the last. It looks awesome. :salute:

The whole shelf pulls out on each of them? That is so clever. I really like it. And if the kiddos are happy and eating and all that, that's all the approval you need! Great job.

So when you're doing maintenance/working with with one animal, the one below it is free to check out the vaulted ceiling above?
