    Animal plastics t8
Debating ordering one of these or building one similar. Anyone have one from animal plastics and if so what do you think? What add on do you suggest?

Top notch enclosures for sure. I've got two t8s with locks, LED lights, and RHP. Running on a Herpstat 2. Love the whole setup. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...8a63a1cf76.jpg

    Rhp
Have you ever used the heat tape with them? I was thing of using heat tape, but wasn't sure how well it would do with 1/2 PVC. What size Rhp do you have? Was it hard to mount in the enclosure?

I have 80 watt rhp's in my t8s. Two screws is all it takes to mount them on the ceiling of the cage. Love my cages. Perfect temos and perfect humidity all the time.

What is the stand you are using for your T8s? I like it.

I have one T8 and another on the way. Absolutely love them! I do have heat tape in mine and it works fine, however if your room's temp fluctuates a lot and you are also using RHPs, you will have some problems with the RHPs overheating the hot spot when it's cold out. With stable temps, you only need one or the other, not both. If it goes from hot to cold often in your room, I'd just go with RHPs (usually just one mounted over the hot spot will do it).

2'x4' wire shelving unit from webstaurant.com the casters are way nice when you need to get to the back of the cage for any reason. A little pricey all together but fits the size of the cages exactly and solid black to match as well.

I've got Pro-Heat RHP, had them sent to animal plastics and they'll install and route channels for the power cords at no extra cost. Had them cut the channels for my LEDs too $10/cage. They have their own LED option too for $40/cage but it's single color lights. I got color changing dimmable strips on eBay for like $15.

can u get a pic of the channels they cut for the lights? I want to see how they did it. I might just do it myself, as I am placing an order to meet them at the tinley show, and not sure they will have time to get all that done.
