No sir, my normal girl has those type of marks as well and rest assured, she is as normal as they come! Lol

Hard to tell if those are truly markers. They seem pretty blotchy and atypical for the railroad track markers. What was he sold to you as? Have you seen pictures of the parents? Pretty ball python btw. Congrats. Then the other way is to breed him to get a sense of what he has genetically. Do you know of any of his siblings or clutchmates? Not all markers are indicative of a genetic trait. The sure fire way is to breed the animal and see the production.

i purchased my first ball pythons from craigslist post and had to pick them up in east orange NJ, didn't find out the parents.. He's in LOCK with his sister as we speak/type lol, so hopefully I will see something..

No markers there at all.

hmmm.. so railroad track type PIED markers are the ONLY type morph markers out there, besides some checkered blotches for YB<---not looking for that anyway, for now...

YB is a Co-Dom, visual, not recessive. It has several traits signifying it.

I have a nice little collage that might help you with the pied markers.

Only one of these animals is a known 100% het pied, though they all have belly markings that could be confused as pied markers. Can you guess which one is the het pied?

The het pied is the top right animal. All the others are completely normal. "Pied markers" can be a combination of a number of different things, including a connected neck and eye stripe, wonky tail pattern, a ringer, or train train tracks. A het pied can have all or none of these traits. Mine happens to have none of these except for an oddball tail pattern and train tracks.
When you are looking at the tracks, they "should" be very bold with very clear and concise defined lines between light and dark. They belly itself should also be very clear.

For a Yellowbelly you look for lots of nice flaming coming up the sides, many small speckles along the sides with a clear belly, a head stamp, and yellow outlining the markings.
