Paradox Ivory.. Hold it back?

I produced a paradox ivory late last year. I am debating on holding her back or selling/trading her and holding a regular ivory back. Has anybody here produced a paradox and held it?
Also, I am trying to post the pic but it keeps asking for a link..?.

It is really up to you. Paradox in Ball Pythons does not seem to be genetic, so I would not hold it back in hopes of making another one.

If you choose to sell it, a Paradox can go for more money depending on how extreme it is.

Paradox Ivories are quite common.

Yep. I will likely never produce a paradox again. That's why its kinda hard to part with..;)
It guess it does make sense to sell it and just hold a regular ivory back.

It boils down to what you want in your collection. I personally like animals that are a little different, so I would hold back the paradox and sell the other.

I think paradox stuff is neat, but it depends on what you like. Genetic wise though it probably isn't any different. Sand boas are the only snake I know of where paradox is an inheritable trait.

generally its a random thing. but now there also is a recessive morph that does it. atomic completely covers the whole BP with lots of paradoxes.

its still a very rare and very expensive morph, and the basic version doesnt look impressive, you need to add a few morphs, and then you see the different morphs being expressed in different places.

but i agree, if its just an ivory, you can be quite certain that its a random thing and not genetic.

I'd definitely hold back the female paradox Ivory if I were you :)

I will also hold back the paradox one and sell the other since you can just get few more dollars since it s just an ivory ...

I saw an ad on Craigslist in a city near me. Someone had a 2013 female paradox ivory, so I figured I would see how much they wanted. They wanted $1800. I know the are different, but like Jinx said, it isn't genetic. I could see him asking a few hundred more, but $1800 was a little ridiculous.

Personally, I LOVE paradox stuff, especially paradox ivories :)
