What locality of boa
Hi,
i apologize but I can't find out how to attach a picture without a URL. The photo is on my profile. If you would like to take a look. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I can't bring myself to believe she is 100% columbian. Any input is appreciated. :confusd:

Anybody want to even guess?

She's interesting: do you know what her parents were/lineage? What do you think she is?

Check out the locality post and you can see some different types.
"Common boa" doesn't really equal Colombian boa any longer, however it doesn't mean it's not Colombian either. As Evenstar (Kali) stated Locality Colombian BCI's are "Type B's" or Barranquilla. Other than those two, localities, data is not readily available for the majority of "common boas" Mix in a CA boa just once at any point in the lineage and locality is a moot point.
Your breeder's info is the best info you can get. If it's unknown or not credible, accept the fact you have a beautiful BCI.
Locality breeders are VERY serious about, you guessed it, locality. There are some purists out there with beautiful boas both BCC and BCI.
Having said that, and admitting that I'm partial to locality boas, there are an equal amount of stunning morphs.
The most important thing is that you think your snake is beautiful and enjoy it.

I don't know her lineage much. I saw the dad. They were very uneducated people. He did look like a Hog Island. I didn't see the mother, she had been sold. I guess she nipped one of there children (5). My question is what were they doing to allow that to happen. And who lets a 5 year old unattended with a big snake. That is a diff subject though. But I am not sure to be honest. Her saddles make me think BCC because theyre more of a {} shape. At least I think so. She also literly has a black mustache. An black spots all over her tummy.

I think she is beautiful and I love her to pieces. I just wish that I knew more about her so I knew what would be the best mate for her

Honestly she doesn't look to have any BCC or Hog influence in her to me, so I would say she's a very pretty Colombian BCI. Maybe not full Colombian since her parents/lineage is unknown but I would consider her a common Colombian BCI. You could sure post more pics if you like.

Thank you. I really wish I could get into pure hog islands. And leopards. They're so expensive though. At least for somebody who is 15.

My pure Hog was about $150 with shipping: though I've heard the breeder I got my girl from is getting out of breeding Hogs I've seen pure babies for very affordable prices. Check in with Jimi Snakes to see if he'll have some this year (he's a great guy to buy from).
