100% Het. Pied 0.1 Opinions?
Hello, Im new to the forum but wanted to get some opinions on a "supposed" 100% Het. Pied female. Im mostly interested in the very odd yellow color sections along her dorsal pattern. Iv'e attempted to find similar color markings on other BP's but haven't had any luck. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!http://gallery.connectedbypets.com/d...4_19.06.14.pnghttp://gallery.connectedbypets.com/d...4_19.08.48.png

Thanks for your reply and the pic. Im mostly interested in finding out if the yellow patches can be markers for het. pieds? Since I have never seen colorations on a "normal" I'm assuming they have some connection to the snakes genetics. Is that possible? or might there be some other genetics involved with this specimen?

Honestly I'm not sure. I don't want to give you any wrong info. There are too many people that know way more than I do.
I thought that might have been what you were asking which is why I uploaded the pic of mine. Justin at Jkobylka Reptiles says mine is 66% hetpiebald.
What I am still trying to figure out is what is the difference between 66% and 100%?
Re: 100% Het. Pied 0.1 Opinions?
Well as far as I know is that 66% hets are considered possible het. where as 100% het. snakes are definite carries of the given genetics. Please correct me if I'm wrong though!

No you are probably right! Just wondering wouldn't the marker's be the same?
Re: 100% Het. Pied 0.1 Opinions?
Once again I could be wrong, but with het. pieds the markers can be extremely varying. From "train tracks" to "ringers" it can be all over the place, I'm hoping my snake fits in there somewhere with her unusual marks though!

Thanks for the reply! Thats what iv'e come to understand as well, but haven't ever seen any yellow color patches such as the ones on this female, I wish i could capture just how vibrant the marks really are. Just wondering if they are significant for anything? Or if they are just kind of an odd thing but nothing beyond that? Thanks!
