    Drooling snake
    I have a new pickup and hes got slimy drool on his mouth do I need a vet or can I treat it?

    I would find out whats causing the drool first, if you can....before treatment. I could be a jaw issue, broken tooth, or an RI, or contagious illness. Drooling is not normal, so your chances are great you do have to see tge vet.

    QT is obviuos.

    I would contact the seller for a refund as that is not a likely candidate to be in my facility during breeding season. It could shut your entire season down if it spreads.

    92F- 94F hotspot and high humidity till you get to a vet. It is a likely RI and you'll need Baytril or Tazicef injections to treat it.

    Who did you get the snake from? If it was sick, it shouldnt have been sold.

    I traded a pastel for it at the repticon it was in a large deli tray and I grabbed it on the way out I should have looked at it good my fault fir that one but the guy should also know what hes selling. I dint even remember his name but I saw him at the perry show too, I thi k he is a flipper hes a big man with balls and very large blood pythons

    I`ll give him enrofloxacin IM until you can make it to the vet. If he doesnt need it just do nothing, but if he needs it, it will already starts fighting bacteria.

    This if you can give an IM. In that case 5mg/kg every 48hs.
