Trade bp for bearded dragon!!!

So im thinking about trading my 6 month old normal ball python my only one for a translucent red bearded dragon im not really sure if i should do the trade cause i love ball pythons but wat should i do?

Oh dear, I don't think I could part with any of my babies and one of them just took a tantrum and tried to bite me when I stopped them delving in my jacket on the couch!

Of course, this is up to you but I think if I wanted a BD I would save for one in addition to my BP's, not instead of...


Edit: Also BD cost more to feed with the crickets, and vege which you need calcium for and they need things like UV light in their enclosures and bigger enclosures etc

Bearded dragons eat twice a day, you will need to get a constant supply of crickets, they need like 5 times more attention than ball pythons.
BD are cool but its up to you, if you have the time go for it.

Yeah i know i had a bearded dragon before but i think im just gona keep my ball python and just save up for a bearded dragon

I actually traded my BD for my ball python. He was fully grown but required SO MUCH extra work. I am so pleased with the trade!

Keep the bp and just add to the collection :D

First if all I'd never trade one of my pets way,that's not how I am..I ink doing shows little care for an animal or how you actually feel for your pets...second of all,why the hell are you asking us on the boards..don't you have a brain? To think you can't make a decision this simple on your own,scarey what this country's in for!!!!

He was asking for an opinion which he has gotten from a few of us. You may not trade but what difference is there between trading or selling an animal and using the proceeds for another animal in reality? It just cuts out the middle man.

I'm not sure if you mean to come across as harsh in your posts but dear god you do sometimes! If you can't come to a forum for advice where can you go to?!

Simply because someone was considering a trade between two beautiful animals doesn't justify any connection between the possible transaction and you stating 'scarey what this country is in for'. I don't find this person's ask for opinion scary in the slightest. It's nice people can feel comfortable enough to come here and ask sensitive advice.

I think you may need to think through your posts before posting, I know some people can be judgemental on posts but you seem to take it to a new level. Whether intentional or not I believe you should consider your words wisely before you post!

Like, honestly, your mother raised you to open your mouth like that to complete strangers?

To think you can't have any common courtesy to ACTUALLY have something nice to say.

For me though, you're what's wrong with this country and the world. Grammatical mistakes, poor punctuation, inconceivable amount of a rude attitude --all the time. People like you run people out of our hobby and project a negative image on the rest of us.

He didn't ask what you thought of him, or the idea if a trade, but if the trade was balanced. Why not keep your backwards opinion to yourself?
