Don't you just love it when this happens?
Been messing around with the iPhone 5S' slo-mo video feature. Feeding day! Don't you love it when they're striking as soon as the tub opens?

    Hope you enjoyed!

    Heh heh,

It's the reason I now wear bike gauntlets when opening tubs on feeding day.

Very cool to watch and beautiful snakes. Do they always strike at you when you open the tub or is it just on feeding day?

Just on feeding day. I thaw them out and then warm them up in an incubator in the snakeroom on feeding day. Gets them in the mood!

Wow! At first I thought (in the first video), boy, that rat is HUGE. But then I saw the rest of your snake...
They sure aren't as gross as young rats/mice. They look much better with fur. But what a great feeding response! Neither of my snakes eat like that... :P

Great vids! Cool to see in slow motion. Btw, any advice on switching a BP from live to frozen? I've tried just about every trick in the book and she is just not having it. I can tell she's hungry too because when I move stuff around her cage she coils up like she does when she thinks food is coming. I'd just keep feeding her live but I moved to go to school and there are no places around that sell live.

next time rotate the camera by 90 degrees.
