easy giant

i know giants can be hard for the beginner to keep but what is the "easiest" giant to keep?? just curious.

Not sure what you mean by "easy. " Burms supposedly have the easiest (nicest) disposition, but none are "easy" to keep and all require a second person to assist with feedings and cleanings and such.

As far as long snakes i think burmese but they are not for beginner. I would say Blood Pythons are pretty good. They are docile and are very thick bodied but are not too long.

And girthy as all get out but far shy of giants. Your stock answer would probably be burms, as Smynx said but you can find proponents for each of the biggest species that might make the same claim. In all the easiest one to keep is one you can keep with someone else always there to help you just in case.

If you are a beginner and you want a larger snake, go for a Boa. A female BCC (i think, cause the bci's are smaller, right?) will be a very large adult snake to have, but perhaps won't require 2 people around for caring for it.

if i was to get a big snake in the future it would be a bci, but not now,im not ready for a big guy yet. I just wanted to ask the people who kept the larger snakes witch one is the least difficult to deal with.

BCI's are smaller than BCC's. Males are smaller then females.
Great temperment, and dont get TOO big. I always say if its under 7 ft you can make do by yourself ;)

Olive pythons have fabulous personalities & can easily hit 10'.

i wouldn't call any boid "easy". even ball pythons. i would say that with time, caring for a particular species may become more routine for you. but no snake is easy, all require a little bit of know-how. with that being said... get a boa :) :). they rock!

i really want one but my mom says i cant get one till i move out and get my own place....so yeah, that sucks. ohh well, 4 years isnt that long of a wait (NOT) .
