Looking for a male what should i get?
So i got a couple of female bp's last year. They will be ready to breed next year. One is a lesser the other is a mojave. What morph should I be looking for in a male to go with these ladies? Should I go for the all BEL or should i get something like bumblebee, lesser bee, pastel enchi, etc....Im just interested in everyones opinion so let me know.

    thanks

I'd go for something Enchi. The Mochis and Lesser Enchis are HOT!!

hmm, so you have a lesser and mojave female, both now one year old....

umm, i see what you mean, but no.

i say get a 2-gene male. pewter or bee or lemonblast. depends on what you like.

get a single-gene male and you can expect clutches of 25% normals, 50% single-gene morphs, and 25% two-gene combos. 1 gene per snake on average.

get a double-gene male and you can expect clutches of 12,5% normals, 25% single-gene morphs, 25% two-gene combos, 12,5% triple gene combos. 1,5 genes per snake on average.

yeah pinstripe would work nicely with what you have, but then you could consider a lemonblast. or enchi pinstripe would be awesome. it really depends on what you like and where you want to go. You could get a pastave, then you get high-white BELs in the form of lesser mojave, and super mojaves which are grey-headed BELs, more pastaves, lesser pastels, ...

i like BELs and jigsaws (pinstripe mojave) so i would try to get a jigsaw, for BELs and more jigsaws :) and i would later add enchi, pastel, fire, etc.

and mojave or some other BEL gene would, i think, be better than to have lesser or butter in the male, because of the eye problems that sometimes happen in super lesser / super butter / lesser butter.

If you find that you have 3-gene options within your price range for that male, thats always something to consider, i guess the cheapest triple hit is the killerbee (super pastel spider).

A super pastel, super fire, or ivory male won't break the bank and will make some nice combos, and even if Mom doesn't contribute a morph gene, dad will ensure you don't get any normal girls.
