Are they using them as hides to feel more secure? Just what came to mind for me. Since it's a tight fit in the bowls

I believe this to be the case. I am hoping to eventually swap those racks for a more closed in type like what most of the adults are in. The baby racks were closed in. So I think when they transitioned to the Juvy rack that they were not used to so much light.

Just put heavier curtains over the windows. Or block most of the window off. After seeing every single one of them in the water I believe they are getting too much light, or there is a mite issue. I heard you mention pro vent a mite in the vid. Make it darker in there and your picky eaters might eat better. :banana:
