Is this Dinker worth messing with?
Got this Dinker female as a freebie, wondered if it's even worth messing with. I've got exactly jack squat knowledge of morphs at this point, but I thought I saw Granite in there. Dunno if it'd do anything interesting if bred to a, say, pastel...

Hey a freebie is a freebie.
If your going to be caring for her, might as well see what she has to offer :D

Ok... so what am I missing here? From what I've read what makes a granite a granite is more speckling than concentrated spots on the sides... This may not have a lot of those markings, but I definitely see some that are different from my het albino male.

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to increase the value of this snake. I'm merely wondering if it'd be worth raising it to breeding size and then putting it with a pastel, or if I'm just wasting my time with it and should try to sell it locally as a normal.

I'm seeing next to none granite marks IMO or anything other than a normal, but if she's indeed a female then throw a cool male to her in time (if you like pastels then a two or three gene pastel morph male?)

I think I'm just going to find another home for her. I really want to focus on producing albino variations and she just doesn't fit into that plan. Unfortunately the same can be said for most of my current collection... I really need to find someone in ATL to do some swapping with.

I looks like a regular normal to me, but that doesn't mean you can't bred it ;)

    I agree - regular normal.

There is a ton of natural variation - so things can look cool or different due to polygenic differences but not actually be a morph.

Normal! if its a female why not breed her and see what you get, if you have a nice male to pair her with?
