Last year was the first year that I produced ODs, and I was a little worried that I'd have difficulty picking them out as well. After the snakes had a couple of sheds, though, most of them were very obvious. I did produce two (out eighteen) that are a little iffy. Luckily, though, they're both females, so I'm just going to raise them up and breed them.
If you're purchasing an OD, I personally would make sure to buy it from the person who actually produced it. I've seen several snakes for sale at fairly low prices that were labeled as ODs, but were bought from someone who bought it from someone else who supposedly bought it from the breeder. I'm worried that someone might get a pretty normal instead of an OD if they're not careful.

When in doubt, breed it out...

since its about orange dream, mind if i hijack the thread for a bit?
super orange dreams look nice, but orange dreams look like normals in pictures very often, so my question would be: Which combos of other genes really take off if you add orange dream? Or, if you have orange dream and may add one other gene, which one?

ill post pics in a second here but my answer to the question would be orange dream spider! they are awesome but id say the OD itself is really subtle but the combos are sick!
