Do any of your BPs ever just sit and stare/watch you for extended periods of time?

Yep, one that I recently picked up just stares at me when I open his rack. Doesn't strike or anything, just stares at me. Sometimes he'll start to move around after a few minutes but like today we had a staring contest for about 15 minutes....he won........like usual.

Do they ever?
Yes! Sometimes when I'm holding them, they will suddenly stop and stare. Never strike or anything, they just freeze and get everyone all worried that they're going to bite... lol then they'll go along their merry way after a minute or two...

my little pinstripe male...seems to love resting his head on the edge of the lip of the sliding glass door (in a T8) and just sit and watch me on the computer doing homework or w/e im up to. When I take him upstairs and sit in my chair in the tv room he'll rest is head in my open palm and curl up the rest of himself next to my arm...
its damn cute...and endearing...and who said snakes weren't cute and didn't have personalities was dead wrong...

Like this? The lip on my T8 is one of Harlan's favorite places to rest his chin and keep an eye on me...
exactly what my little guy does!! was at it for about hours last night fairly early in the evening for him too....

My female was in a big forty gallon before I switched her to a rack system and she was very prone to resting her chin on her hide and just watching me. If my boyfriend and I were in there for any reason she would parascope for a LONG time as well.
