    Dinker or Cool Patterned Normal?
Hi everyone. Today I picked up this cool little dinker or a cool patterned normal from a Pet Shop. I feel like I rescued the poor guy. He was with two others who had a lot of feces in the tank which he was laying in. I did give him a bath and sprayed him for mites even though I didn't see anything, doesn't mean there wasn't anything. Unsure right now the sex as I wanted him to settle in before I poked too much at him. I will call him a he for this post though.

He has hearts and aliens along with ghosts on his sides. He is very dark like a dark chocolate candy piece. He kinda has a mustache too. Here are some pictures. The guy said "they only feed mice once a week on Sunday." He is about 300 grams and thin to me compared to my albino boy. I will take more pictures tonight for comparison. He has tons of crazy belly markings as well.

Let me know what you all think.
    Thanks
    Nichole

PS Sorry the pictures are so big.

The dish on the scale weighs 109 grams.

Looks like a pretty normal! In my opinion, normals can make the best pets! I rescued a female normal back in July and she will always be one of my favorites.

Normal to me, but there are some morphs that I look at and don't see anything special. So, I may not be the best judge.

I don't see anything that really stands out as a precurser or marker for something genetic. In all respects it looks like a nice normal.

I was thinking a pretty normal but then someone on facebook said a dinker, so I thought I should post here for all of you to see him/her. I am hoping for a girl so I have two girls and a boy. BUT I am very happy with him. He was so cold when I picked him up from the store that I thought he had been outside. Poor baby. Now to fatten this newbie up. =)

I'd say dinker. I'm kind of new but I'm pretty sure most normals don't have a light colored headstamp.l on there head. I have one normal that has a headstamp same as yours. It would be fun to experiment with even if it turns out to be a normal. Here's mine. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/02/08/a4u5y9uh.jpg

Aww, what a cute lil normal buggaboo!

I'm such a sucker for these guys when they get mistreated. Which is how I have ended up with more than a dozen rescues in the last year.

Believe it or not, the light headstamp thing does occur in normals, it isn't on lots of them, but they do get it. 4 of my 6 normals have it.

Your little one has a really neat pattern and a lot of cool blushing on his back, and that can be useful if you ever decide to breed. The blushing is why I picked my big normal girl out of a tub of a dozen normals, and she made me some terrific fires last year.

I adore the busy belly he has, I just want to tickle it!

Actually, lots of normals carry that marking.

All of the snakes here definitely appear normal to me. My first normal Sasha has a well faded headstamp, lots of blushing and flames. Looks great, but still a normal.

I don't see anything in him that I would personally dink with, so I'll say a nice normal who's glad to have a good home!
