What's the most expensive or unnecessary thing you have bought on impulse? For me it was a car. I bought it literally 45 minutes after seeing it. It left me broke for a WHILE.
Subaru Forester. Woke up one day, said I think I'll look at cars. Drove home a brand new 2011 Limited Edition Subaru that night. Have not looked back since. Best impulse by ever.

Bought a '85 Pontiac Fiero V6 off of Craigslist. While it was an AWESOME car, and super fun, I realized that if it broke down I had NO IDEA how to fix it, and the parts would probably be hard to find. I sold it to a guy about a year later when the fuel injectors blew and I thought "yeah, this is probably just the beginning..."
I HAVE NO REGRETS THOUGH. That thing was boss.

I don't really impulse buy, I'm pretty good with money. Sometimes ill buy something i find without waiting too long, but its always something I've already been thinking a lot about getting. For example: I've been looking at buying a newer/better vehicle since the summer. So if i went to the dealership and came home with a new car then some people may consider that an impulse buy but imo it really isn't bc I've been planning on getting one for 6months now lol. I never *plan* on buying a new bp, but if i find a hot one at an expo that is on my short list I wont hesitate to get it. Imo thats not really an impulse purchase either bc I had already been thinking about getting it for awhile and knew what i was looking for.

I don't really impulse buy too much... However, about 5 years ago I went through some kind of "high on life" moment after being discharged from a scary 9 day hospital inpatient stint and ended up adopting two kittens and a buying a gaming laptop. The laptop served me pretty well but I probably would've gotten something more modest if I'd given myself more time. The kittens have since grown into 17-18lb twin monster cats but I love 'em dearly.
