Need urgent help!!

Ok my carpet didn't eat its rat. It is disgusting and rotting. I go to take it out and snakeu thinks its fresh food and consticts. How in the hell do I stop it from eating the ray?!? Help quick

Once he uncoils and tries to start eating it just take it away from him.

It looks like he is gonna try and eat it without uncooling

Any tricks???

im sorry but how did it get left in there so long it began to rot?

Gently but firmly grab his neck to subdue him and then take out the rat with your other hand. How big is he?

Not huge.... And rotting is the incorrect term. It is sticky it was there less than 24 hours.....
