    Using steam to clean tubs
Has anyone ever used steam to clean tubs with. I am thinking about buying a handhjeld steam machine to clean my tubs with. It says it deisfects countertops and just about everything im thinking it will probably kill mites aswell. Any advice on this

I have not used one to clean snake tubs specifically, but have used one to spot clean carpets and thoroughly clean rat cages. Worked very nicely for those applications, so I imagine it would work well for snake tubs too.

Would it be hot enough to warp the plastic at all?
I heard steam kills just about anything. Good thought.

My steam machine puts out VERY hot steam. A pretty good idea; however, I would be very concerned with warping the the tub.

In a rush to get to an event one night, my wife asked me to steam her dress while she was wearing it... Going carefully, all good until I got to her backside... Well, she screamed louder than I had ever heard her, and ended up with 2nd degree burns to her backside :rage: :O - Lesson Learned the hard way.

Anyways... I would be interested to know the heat tolerance of my Vision c70 tubs, and if this might be an option if done carefully... Let us know if you try it, and it works out OK.

I told my wife several times. It's too hot, you are going to get burned. Just take it off, and we'll take care of it. She put her foot down, got attitude because we were running late, and I wasn't going to argue. Not gonna lie. I gave her a big ol "I told you so" and a little bit of a smile :)
