    Quality Butter
So I'm looking at this butter X pastel girl here. Don't have a higher resolution picture but is she a high quality specimen? I see the bright yellow, reduce pattern and little to no black dot in the alien. Would you guys say she is worth 500$?

That is a pretty hot pastel butter. I like it a lot, but it really all depends on if YOU like it.

I really like her too but I hope to use her in future breeding project want to make sure she is a good representation of her genes. Does the butter gene conteract the browning out of pastels as they grow up? Should i expect her to look just as bright in adulthood?

I like her and definitely think she's worth it!

Here are a few pics that I've taken of my girl (Pastel Lesser) as she's grown so you can get a rough idea of how your girl may look as she grows.

The first pic is of her around ~120-150g when I received her. I think I flashed her in direct sunlight with the old camera so it washed her yellows out.

This photo was taken around ~300g outside in direct sunlight without any flash this time.

This next photo is around 600-700g and I took it about two weeks ago. It's close but not quite right on the colors.

Thanks for the photo! your girl looks beautiful! I'm still trying to work out the difference between lesser and butter. I see that your lesser's black is not as black as the black in the butter girl i posted. Is that the difference between lesser and butter or is it just difference between individual animals? the more I look at her the more I like her, I should of pull the trigger earlier since I just pick up a bumblebee from the same breeder, could of gotten a group deal and save on shipping :tears:

Lesser and Butter are the same. Just different lines of the same mutation. The difference you are seeing is just the variation between two different individuals. Just like how there can be a huge variation in two different normals or pastels.
