    Taking in a boa..
So my bleeding heart couldn't take it and due to a referral from a friend I am taking in a 15 yo red tail, they say "she" is 8.5 ft. My zoo is currently building a reptile house so most likely it will eventually go to the zoo when the house is ready but the people admitting they aren't caring for it like it needs and are really trying to get it out so tomorrow I will have a new roommate.. we are going to quarantine her to our extra room far away from my balls. I will post pics when we get her in .

Congrats on her, I hope she's healthy and well mannered for you. What are you going to put her in?

She is coming with an 80 gal, hide, and what not. From what I have read it seems that is probably small so I'm gonna have to see when I get it, and figure out how long until the she would go to the zoo. We have a buddy that stays at our place in that extra room during guard drills and I haven't broke the news to him yet that that he will have a new roommate .;)

It's not MY zoo per say, I'm a keeper there :) in Richmond, VA

So "she" is heavy in blue so a thorough overview will have to wait and unfortunately a cage cleaning as well which makes me sick but she doesn't look as bad as I feared.

For some reason it's not letting me post pics...

Any input of condition is welcome! I see some wrinkles and surprisingly with all the shed on the cage ground no stuck on shed..
I saw "her" gap her mouth some as if to yawn but not, so I'm hoping it just was a failed yawn and not a sign of respiratory issues
