I see pewter. Sterlings tend to have more of a washed out pattern and a lighter head.

Wow, I was sold this snake as a sterling :mad:

I think it might be a Pewter too. Here is a pic of my Sterling for comparison:

I would contact the seller and ask for a refund or an actual sterling. Also, double check the seller on the BOI to make sure he/she hasn't done this to someone else. If they don't try to make the situation right, make a thread on the BOI to make others aware of this seller.
