And the addiction starts.. What next?
So i have a spare tank i want to put a 2nd ball python in. When i get my 3rd ill buy a rack but for now another 10 gallon will do until they are bigger. I just dont know what to get! Im not sure if ill be breeding the new ine with my pastel someday but i just want a 2nd ball python that really stands out. Out of the base morphs what really stands out to you guys? Im stuck between a mojave, pinstripe, woma, or a fire. I prefer lighter colors so im not sure if i just want to shell out $325 for a designer morph like a bumblebee on BHB. There really awesome looking last time i was looking at them years ago they went for around $800. Out of all these options what would you get considering a snake that has a unique color/pattern for a base morph?

I would lean more towards mojave or fire, but that's my preference. It's all going to depend on what you want to make and what you like.

My advice to you is wait on getting another and save the money for a nice rack system. It will benefit you more to get your rack in and set up/dialed in before getting more snakes. While the aquariums may work just fine, you will be happier with the rack. Then once you have your rack start filling it up :) . Take your time! Worst thing you could do is just start going shopping crazy and get in over your head or pick something up you don't need or want later on...

Good luck to you on whatever you decide :)

I was going to say, if you like lighter morphs to look at the lessers. I think a pinstripe would be nice too. It really depends on what you want to spend.

I really am leaning towards the mojave. I like the dark gray background and blushing on that morph. But fires can look really nice as they age. Its so hard to tell because on each website they look somewhat different. I just want to stray away from a normals color/pattern and go with something light besides a pastel which i have already.

Yes i do. Are lessers just more reduced in pattern and color then a normal? I know lessers are popular right now because of what they can produce.

There are busy patterned lessers, and reduced pattern lessers. Depends on what you like. Here's a couple pics of my female pastel lesser I picked up at Daytona expo. She was $375

I love lessers, and I don't think there is a combo that I don't like with lesser in it. :) Doolittle has a gorgeous pastel lesser aswell that is more busy patterned than mine. Perhaps she can post it to show that side of the spectrum.

I do too now looking at pictures online. I like the pastel lessers but on bhb they go for $550 for a male! $300 is the most i want to spend. Mojaves are $225 and Lessers are $275. I narrowed down to those 2. Now its deciding between them.

I would pick lesser personally, then pick up a Mojave girl when you can. Both are invaluable, and do two different things in combos. If you like the lighter combos, lesser is the way to go. If you like darker, Mojave.

It's all a matter of personal taste. They are equally awesome :)
