Video of CRAZY spider eating
So Noodle our screwy spider ball python has an extreme wobble. Sometimes I feel bad for him as he really has a hard time holding still when stressed or eating. I was able to capture a short video of how he eats. He didnt strike the rodent rather waited until is touched his body. Then as a reflex he wrapped it tightly and killed it without actually biting the rat. Without further delay here is "Noodle"
WARNING: The video is a little graphic if you have a soft spot for rodents..

Awe! Poor guy! His wobble is pretty bad, but at least he's resourceful! My spider's wobble isn't nearly that bad. She still strikes and misses. Poor girl. I'm glad he's doing well for you!

WOW~! Never seen anything like that... Poor guy. But I do like how he's adapted. Very nice on his part.
Re: Video of CRAZY spider eating
Thanks everyone for the comments, He is doing OK however he is 3 years old and only weighs like 450G. He will definitely never breed for obvious reasons. I actually just don't know what to do with him. I bought him as a breeder due to his extreme reduced pattern but shortly after his wobble got bad. I was never informed about his wobble from the breeder. Maybe it wasn't this bad before??
I know they say wobbles can develop as the snake gets older and I think this is what has happened. I held him at a show and he seemed fine, just stayed balled up the whole time. Shortly after getting him home his wobble became apparent.
So stuck between a rock and a hard place. Cant breed him, Cant sell him.. Guess he just becomes an interesting pet...

When I said a short time after getting him home I meant like 6 months.. He seemed fine when we brought him home. His wobble has progressively gotten worse over time.

Hes an ok eater. Ive tried F/T and that is just not an option. It just seems to stress him out and he doesnt eat. His meals have to be small and he usually prefers mice but I try to give him rats occasionally and sometimes he will eat them, and sometimes he wont.
He usually eats every two weeks. Thing is he never grows.. He is three years old, eats every two weeks and is still only 450G. Ive taken him to the vet and had tons of tests done and they are all stumped. They just keep telling me as long as he eats and doesnt get too skinny he will be fine. Just sucks because he is pretty much a less than "glamour" pet. All he does is eat and wobble around lol. Id feel guilty giving him to anyone else so I guess he is just gonna live out his days in my bedroom lol.
