    How to meet new people...
Alright so the ex is long gone for good this time which may make some of you happy knowing some of the craziness lol. Anyways I am just wondering what in the world am I supposed to do in order to meet new people? Haha dating sites are full of...the wrong type of men for me. The one thing I really wish for was a dating site just for reptile lovers :D wouldn't that be amazing? It would solve the issue of people messaging me insulting me and telling me snakes are not pets then continue to insult me. I just wonder how to find the right people in the right places :) where did everyone meet the soul mate?

Don't know where to find a soul mate, but I do know that someone who says they love animals but don't like snakes is not an animal lover at all.

Check out some reptile shows, see if you have a herp society in your area. Don't stress finding someone right away..... It will happen when its meant to.

I agree! Don't try to rush into anything. You don't NEED to have a boyfriend. Just focus on yourself.

Not to sound like a jerk but why do girls(and guys too) feel like they constantly have to be in a relationship? Just have some fun! Life's too short!

There's nothing wrong with being single. After my bad breakup two yrs back.... I moved back to NJ from Vegas, got family and good friends back into my life, and learned things about myself I never knew. Give yourself some time to reflect on yourself... What would you change about your previous relationship? What kind of things did you miss out on while being in a relationship? What do you look for in a relationship?
Go out and have fun, enjoy life. As soon as I realized I was happy single, an I didn't need anyone to keep me strong.... I found someone that made me stronger. And the fact that she had a 7ft female BCC didn't hurt either ;)

Everyone had great responses! After a divorce and a bad breakup I tried to focus on myself (and my growing herp collection), I went to internet route thinking perhaps I could talk to guys and reaffirm that there were good guys out there without jumping into anything. To be really safe I started taking to a deployed soldier and tried taking things slow, well when his deployment was over he came to see me, proposed and moved me across country.. But I agree it starts with you being comfortable and strong with you! Live your life, find your passions and when your surrounding yourself with things you love hopefully you will find someone to share in those things!
