It is about 2:45 eastern time & I am takin Jack to the vet. A lot of things could come from this trip to the vet (not the least of which is switching to a female name, LOL) so I am hoping that all goes well! I'll update when we get home! :D

I don't see any reason to change names if it's a girl. ;)

    I'm with Marla....Jack's a great all-around name, regardless of sex. :)

    freezing and thawing
:D :D :D :D Well, it's a girl! LOL!!! Of course it is, just one more thing those idiots at the pet store lied about! Doc says that she is just a tad thin but other than that she is healthy as can be. I have to call tomorrow for the analysis on the urrates & poopy. My poor baby was so scared of the vet that she peed on his table. The good news is she is hydrated pretty well cuz there was a good dose of fluid too! :) He says that I am doing an amazing job caring for her & that as long as I continue to love her the way that i am, she will live a long, fruitful & healthy life. He said he loved the way I was caring for her when i held her & he said that she seemed pretty comfortable with me already considering all that she has been through. He said to leave her alone for a week so she can calm down a bit & to wait two more weeks to try feeding. He was really amazing with her too. He was so gentle & caring & he asked me what I planned to feed & when I told him frozen/thawed I thought he was gunna kiss me!! LOL!! He had just gotten a snake last week that got beat up really bad. But alas, I am in the running for a new name. I just can't call my girl Jack! I might do sumthin as simple as switchin to Jackie or I might go in a whole new direction. I am thinkin Hissy Fits, since she always hisses but never bites. We'll see, gotta talk to my girl & see what she says! Thanks for the supportive good luck wishes! My baby is so beautiful! When i get my pics developed & scanned i will put em up! YAY! Healthy baby!! :D :D :D :D

Sorta same thing happened to me, we thought the snake was a female, but no, he's a boy. My daughter had already named it Pollyocho, so we switched the spelling to Pauliocho. Good luck, and have fun!
