They could fight if they aren't on regular feeding schedules, but other than that I see no problem.

The only fighting I have ever heard of was two males during breeding season, but I could be wrong since I have never kept two snakes together other than for breeding purposes.

There is a long list of reasons to not keep snakes together:
1. they will have to compete for the best basking/hiding spots
2. if 1 gets sick they both will (doubling vet bills)
3. it is very hard to track each snake/ see signs of illness coming as you can't tell which one did what

5. stress of being forced to live with each other

There are more but these are the main issues. It really isn't worth the risk.
