FedEx Fairy Brought Me A Surprise This Morning!

Hey guys!


So, for those of you who were fortunate enough to read my excited rambling the other night about getting the okay from the fiance to get more snakes...this is the little Mojave I was talking about! He's a 2012 baby from Garrick DeMeyer weighing in at a whopping 81g. :D He is so sweet and adorable! I could just explode from the excitement. I've wanted a Mojo for what feels like forever and he was perfect. I love the high contrast back pattern and blushing. Anyways, here are some pics of my new little boy, Ares!

I really need to get a better camera. :P Garrick's pictures are SO much better. Lol! I hope you all enjoyed him! :D

Beautiful! I just got a little mojo boy yesterday. I want to buy something from Garrick too! I was looking on his site and those pair packages sound like a good deal to both me and my boyfriend! Sounds like that is something we might end up doing....

Thank you everyone! He's absolutely perfect. And so sweet. He's coiled up behind his hide next to some foliage in his tank and I'm finding it very difficult not to just sit and stare at him. He's so cute. But, I'm doing my best to leave him be to get acclimated. He only wandered around his tank for maybe 30-45 minutes when I put him in before coiling up. So I hope that means he's relaxing and settling in. I can't believe I have to wait 7 whole days to try to feed him...and then two more to touch him. :rolleyes: I'm gonna go crazy waiting!

Awww! Mojo's are just so adorable. I love their colors. I have absolutely NO complaints about dealing with Garrick DeMeyer and his employees. They were very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with him again. Definitely highly recommended. And he has fair prices in my opinion for top notch animals. A pair deal would be sweet. Do it! :D

I'll get more pictures as soon as he's settled. I'm stuck with a my iPhone camera, but it'll have to do for now. I would love to get a nice camera for photographing my snakes and other wildlife eventually though. Maybe in a couple years if I don't spend my whole tax return on snakes...:P

I have no plans for the next week...so I'm sure it will be torture sitting at home, thinking about him sitting in the next room. But I'll get through it. It wouldn't be the first time. It's just so hard! :P

I understand completely. :P I liked the contrast of the dark against the yellow/gold. Some of the others had a lot of blushing that almost made them look brownish. They still looked nice, but I'm partial to the darker ones. But I guess that's obvious...:rolleyes: lol.
