    Pick My Mate!
OK, so I'm going to breed next season and am going to pick up a male soon.

    Here's the female:

She's het for SOMETHING, got her out of a 'BP grab bag' :P

So, what to breed to. I'm looking for something with bright colors, as she will probably make them a bit nicer. I've got about 2k MAX to spend (Less obviously welcome!), so pick a morph :)

    EDIT:

This picture was taken when she was a bit younger, but she still looks about the same color and pattern wise. She will be ready for next season, regardless of looks in this picture.

I would throw her with a pied.
My het pieds all have busy markings and hooks like that.

I say a Pastel or YB Pied male.

YB Pied would be a great choice, yeah. Can't go wrong with a pied project, and YB is great with everything.

Being that you really don't know what she is het with I would look for a nice 2 gene male. something like a pastel calico, or a enchi anything. I do love my pieds though also. I have het pieds with crazy patterns like that, but I also have het. Albinos that are just as crazy. The only way that I may consider a Pied for her would be if she has the pied tracks down her belly, and even then it is a long shot.....

    That's my vote as well.

Agree with the two gene male. There is no way to tell by looking what she is het for. We have het pieds, albinos, clowns and g-striped and they all have crazy stuff going on. If you knew what she was het for that would be different. You could pick up the visual male to go with her.
    So I suggest a two/three gene male.

I figured, the worst case scenario is that you would wind up with het pieds...which are a great start to a pied project, anyhow.
    ;)
Does she have belly markers? If you know she is het for something, it's worth a shot at proving her out, IMO.

OK, here are some more pics. Probably better quality too... Again, these pictures are a bit old. The spot on her head isn't a bit of stuck shed. It's always been there as part of the pattern. These were taken right after a shed (Looking her best :P)
