    New Hog Island Boa
Here is a picture of my new Hog Island Boa. I just got him today. He kinda has the same color as a RTB but I guess he'll have to see if his color changes tonight or in the morning. I'm so worried that they really gave me a RTB by mistake! But I already love him so I hope not!! what do you guys think? OMG I sound so dumb :-P

Sorry for the bad pic quality. I just snapped it with my cell phone real quick while he is exploring. I don't want to disturb him too much today. He already had a big day. He was shipped and then he ate a live mouse when he got to the place and now he's here. Guess he can't be too stressed if he ate right away, but still. :)

From what I can see, he looks like a Hog Island Boa. Congrats on the new addition. :)

    For reference here are mine:

hes cute! I think that even from that photo he definitely looks like a Hog Island! You'll find that Hog Islands are awesome! I have 3 and the 2 males are defiantly very chill! (the female can be also..but shes a wee bit temperamental...)

Oh wow! Okay good! That's what he looks like !! LOL I guess I just expected his head to be a little more white colored.

I hope he gets warm. I "showed" him where the UTH part of his tank was and where he can hid to be comfortable, but he is very "busy" right now and doesn't care.

They will get lighter as they age as well as change color depending on time of day. You can see our adult girl by clicking on the frog (facebook page). She has lots of pictures. She is just shy of 5 ft right now. We love her so much!

Oh yeah! Your snakes are really pretty!! Thanks for showing! This guy is darker and is orange and pinkish. He hasn't come down from the highest point of the tank, I don't even know how he managed to get up there. The only thing that worries me is the UTH is, well,... under the tank. Not up where he is happy. So I'm worried about him not staying warm enough.

We keep our house at about 73 degrees so he's not going to get but so cold. I just hope he figures out where to go to warm up if he needs to. ^_^

Nice Hog! It may take a while from him to settle in since you just got him, don't worry he'll eventually figure out where to go :p
