Best "and cheapest" light colored morph
    Hello all,

I currently have a 6 year old normal male that has been a great pet, and have room for another ball. This animal will also be a pet with no intensions of breeding. I would like a light colored animal as my normal has gotten quite dark through the years. I know that pastels usually darken considerably as they age from reading on this site but I know absolutely nothing about any other morphs. As I will not be looking to make money from this snake I would like to keep costs down as much as possible but some of the lighter animals I see on the site are absolutely beautiful. If anyone can give me a cost/staying light analysis I would be very thankful. Thank you for your time.

I think the Fire morph is nice. I'm told that their offspring get lighter as they age,I think they also get lighter but i'm not sure maybe someone else can comment on that. Pretty affordable and nice light coloration. My vote is for Fire

    Depends on your definition of inexpensive. But I'd look at Fire's , Enchi's, hypo's, albino's even lesser's.

go the extra mile and get the super pastel. Better colors on the pattern and the yellows stay lighter

I love pastels so ill say regular or super would be good. They aren't expensive but supers cost more.. If u want to spend a bit more look into Albino, enchi, butter/lesser, fire,

Thanks for all the suggestions, I would like to stay south of $400 if possible to get an animal that stays light, the mojave and lessers look good also. Thanks for all the fast responses!

Honestly. If you are looking for an animal that will make your guest mouth drop and looks pretty in a cage for little money.
I say go for an Albino.
To this day, people who do not know much about snakes. Always think Albino's are just amazing looking.

would love to see an albino slithering in my backyard. :P

You can definitely pick up a male lesser for under $400 - they tend to go for $250-300. Or you may be able to pick up an albino for around that. Females will more right at around $400. My vote is for a male lesser! I love that coffee-with-cream look and they get better/lighter with age. :gj:
