    I'm Sad.
This is totally my own fault, but I havent been able to handle my girl as much as I did because I started a new job and some other stuff..and now she gets really sketchy when I even go into the room. :(

I feel bad, because Ive been bit before, but Im still hesitant about just stickin my hand in there when she in her strike position...

But the main reason I feel bad is because I havent had her out, and now it seems like she is really uneasy all the time.

    A long time..like 4 maybe 6 weeks.

I really think thats what the problem is. because I used to have her out pretty much everyday for at least an hour.

Do you hesitate when reaching into the cage? Most snakes won't bite you if you are confident and just reach in and grab them, once they are out the chances of getting bitten are incredibly low.

    I hope this helps.

I have found that since I started feeding my balls in there tubs that they will always be a little cage aggressive. Once I get them out of there tubs they are fine. If you mind getting bit I would use a snake hook to get them out, then handling should be no problem.

When I first got my bp I was nervous with him because he was a hearty guy. He could totally sense this, he was nervous because I was. Once I started acting confident and more dominant I want to say, he became almost instantly docile. I really do believe they play off of the vibe you send out.

You could use a glove or a hook until you feel more confident. It won't take her long to get used to being handles again.
