Yes, it's safe. Just watch them for a bit to make they are not playing steal the pinky with each other.

i perfer to have two mothers in one tub if they are going to pop around the same date. it allows them to work together raising the pups can give a mom a break they will work together nicely~

It's ok and usually not an issue except most will play swap the baby :P
We keep all of out females separate in their own birthing tubs, I've done both and I get fatter healthier babies keeping them on their own.

I keep my 1.2 together all the time and have not has any issues.

well the 2 moms who had a litter there cage mates or they ate all the babies :( I was working on a cage for them but the group ate them all there always well feed and water don't understand why they did it :/

no they all were in the cage together from the beginning.

I have right now two mothers and a male in a cement tub with out problems and three and four mothers no male in 105qt tubs with no problems . Were the babies all alive, I have had mothers eat still born or non feeding/dieing babies on occasion
