    Our gang.
We are pretty new to the world of Ball Pythons and we are just loving this.

It all started with a poem written by one of my boys about killing snakes with his grandpa. This upset me very much and I decided it was time to educate my family , even my wife was afraid them. After some talking I had her convinced to at least look, I got her to touch and then to hold one. After that the entire family was hooked.

So after a failed attempt with what appears to have been a pair of unhealthy baby girls from a dealer 10 hours from home we decided not to give up. Here are pics of our babies.

This is Lexi our 4 month old normal girl. We have had her 2 months today. She eats very well and switched to f/t in one try with out hesitation. She is a joy to own and except for a small case of mites that we got rid of she has been pretty trouble free.

This is our pair of boys that we just brought home tonight. The one on the left is Bruno a normal het axanthic with some neat markings. The one on the right is Flynn a very bright pastel 50% het axanthic. The breeder says they are good eaters and judging by Lexi who we also got from him I tend to believe him. The pics don't do any of them justice.

If all goes as planned he will hatch a female spider 50% het axanthic about a month from now and I will be set. The the long wait for maturity and the fun begins.

    Thanks for looking.

Cute. We just recently took in a regualr needing a home, and my son is hooked already.

We do have a plan for sure. I love the axanthic bees and after seeing her first one my wife has fallen as well. I eventually would like to throw and albino in the mix and try for some snows. But there are so many good looking morphs that it will be tough to not horde them.

    Thanks everyone.

That's a great story. I enjoy hearing the motivation people had to start up in this hobby. Nice bunch you have there.

Just offered all three of them live hoppers and of course our little girl ate like a champ. The mouse did not even come out of the box, I only tipped the box down and she grabbed it out of the box. She has never missed a meal.

The het axanthic took a moment to figure out what is was then nailed it and took it down quick.

The pastel was not as good a show. He struck and grabbed it by the butt, at that point the mouse grabbed back. I managed to get the tongs in its mouse and I did not see any injuries. Then he decided to take it butt first. He struggled with it for about 10 minutes before he finally got it down.

This was the first hopper for both the boys and overall I am very pleased. Everyone is now sleeping for the next 24 hours or so.

    Thanks for the responses folks.
