My BP seems to be constipated
i have not found any droppings in the tank what so ever and he has eaten three meals recently. Im starting to worry that he is having issues pooping. Anyone have any suggestions on how to make that issue go away? Or any other ideas why i am not finding poop?

BPs are not like a cat or dog. They don't go to the bathroom every time they eat. Babies tend to go even less than adults because they are trying to get everything they can out of their food. If you are really concerned about constipation you can soak them in lukewarm water. This usually helps them if they are constipated, but I doubt yours is. They commonly poop when they shed, so l really wouldn't worry until then unless it looks constipated (the tail near the vent may be really swollen).

If your bp was malnourished or dehydrated when you got it, it may be absorbing everything from the prey and leaving no waste to expel. The same could happen if you are feeding too small prey items. How big is the bp (how much does he/she weigh) and what size prey are you feeding?

If you're worried about it, a 15 minute soak in luke-warm water usually gets things moving along...

He'll do #2 after the shed which he sounds like he's heading into.

I doubt he's constipated then. Babies tend to go less often because they are really utilizing their food. He will most likely poop as he's shedding.

I used to think my guy was constipated, so I started to keep track of his BMs for a while. He only goes about every month and a half, I'd consider it normal for him.

Please don't soak your snake. He's more than likely not constipated.

Bathing him, on the other hand, will cause nothing but stress. Just let him be.
