We think it was stress. If you saw my last post she never got a good week of alone time because member's of nathan's family would try to hold her while Nathan was away at work. That paired with the fact that later we found she came to us from the expo with mites and had to be treated for it.. Just a lot of stuff happened. Her last two days alive she was extremely agitated and frightened, striking at everything.
Awful. We thought she was going to be fine...was eating, drinking, and 'going' like clockwork. :(

That really stinks... It is hard when even with your best efforts she still passed..... I think I would break my families fingers if they wouldn't keep their hands out of my snake tanks....

Re: Dorothy passed on..
that is awful. I'm so sorry for your loss. Nothing worse than losing a snake. I lost my first bp as a kid to an R.I. I remember giving him shots..but alas he died. :(
I'd put locks on your cages.

At the time she was in a quarantine tub. We didn't really have the ability to get locking cages at the time, though were about a month away from buying them all permanent enclosures that would have locks with keys. We figured that honestly no one would be dumb enough to mess with them without someone there, but obviously there were people who were.
We are still buying the cages, though I guess we will only need to buy two now..

I'm sorry for your loss. It is always tough to lose a pet.
