    How do you dilute small batches of Chlorhexadine???
    i know the instructions state to mix 1-2oz to a gallon of water, but the thing is a gallon batch is way more than enough for me. i just have 5 snakes and only want to use just half of a spray bottle at the most. does anyone know the proper solution to get a small spray bottle worth of chlorhexadine? is there a mixing guide for this stuff? i don't want to over dilute it nor do i want to use to much, if 1-2oz makes you a gallon then what do i use if i want a few ounces instead of a gallon batch?

    That would be .75 to 1.5 tsp for 16 oz.
    just stating so you don't accidently put in a bit extra...

    For accuracy just get a 10cc syringe to measure the chlorhexadine solution
    7.5cc = 1.5 tsp

    I use 8ml for the 28oz Spray bottle of water and 2ml for the 8oz Spray bottle.

    thank you all for your input guys. so i can pick up one pf those little plastic syringes that are usually given with liquid medication and measure the chlorhexadine with that. does it measure ml as well???

    Umm just fill up the spray bottle and pour in a little till its a nice sky blue color, then your good! I usually fill up a 32 oz spray bottle with a tiny bit of the dine and its a nice blue color.

    Interesting the instructions on my bottle is 1 oz to a quart. What percentage Chlorhexadine do you have? Mine is only 2% I have a calibrated pump that delivers one oz at a time and a one quart spray bottle could not be easier.
